1.      Features:

Welcome to the wireless data collector of the new concept of the 8 series. It combines the functions of a wireless barcode scanner and a variety of commonly used wireless barcode data collection functions. Users can use it directly without any programming. The 8 series products have a keyboard and a screen, which can realize functions that a wireless barcode scanner cannot. With keyboard and screen, it can realize functions that traditional wireless barcode scanning gun cannot achieve. For example, when the barcode is damaged and cannot be scanned, it can be input through the built-iin keyboard; it can display the current wireless channel, wireless signal strength and battery power. The supporting wireless base station adopts the USB interface and emulates the keyboard mode. It can be used under Windows without any driver. And support USB to send data, simulate a wired gun to scan the barcode.

Three engines for reading: 1D laser, 1D CCD, 2D image.

1D laser (8L): fast scanning speed, large depth of field, can meet the needs of most industries.

1D CCD(8H): better reading effect, can read the barcode on the screen of the hand, fuzzy barcode has good reading speed.

2D image (8T): fast reading speed, read all 1D 2D barcodes and screen codes.

The 8 series wireless scanners use 2.4GHz wireless. The screen displays the signal strength indication and sending status. After optimizing the communication distance and stability, the transmission distance in the open environment is 50-100 meters.

2. Technical parameters

1)32-bit high-speed ARM series CPU

2) FLASH memory: 4M, store 30000-50000 records depending on barcode length.

3) Power: Built-in lithium battery, support charging through USB .

4) Display: 176 x220 TFT color LCD screen with white backlight.

5) Size: 157 x 60 (56) x 36 (26) mm, about 155 grams

6)24-key high-quality silicone keyboard

7) Working time: 10-50 hours, scan more than 10,000 times

8) Barcode scanning module:

(1) 1D laser (common barcode recognition, long depth of field, high accuracy)

(2) 1D CCD (long-distance CCD recognition rate is higher, faster and more stable)

(3)2D image (common barcode, 2D QR code, screen code recognition) Read barcode types: EAN13, EAN8, Code39, Code93, Code128, IT25, Codebar,UPCA,UPCE, etc .

Read 2D code types: PDF417, QR Code, Data Matrix, etc. (1D laser and 1D CCD cannot read the QR code).

9) Communication: 2.4GHZ&USB.

3. Applicable industry

8 series wireless data collectors are especially suitable for small and medium supermarkets, express delivery, logistics, wholesale stores, barcode scanning storage and barcode identification of large items. They can also be directly used as barcode scanning and inventory management in supermarket barcodes, bookstores and warehouses.

4. Precautions for operation

(1) Basic setting of keys, Orange button is trigger scan. All functions can be exited using the [ESC] button. In the input box, press the [SW] key to switch the input method, and [Del] is the delete key. [ENT] is the confirmation key by default.

(2)Keeping the scanning window area clean will help improve reading accuracy and speed.

(3)The mobile phone charging head can also be used to charge the scanner.

(4)[Fn] key can adjust the backlight brightness of the display screen to adapt to different environments, and the red switch key can quickly enter the power saving sleep state.

Second, detailed operations

1.Scan Gun

The function of the scanner mode is the same as that of the traditional wireless scanner.

Connect the receiver to the computer (no driver installation required). The computer opens the editing software (such as Excel Word TXT, etc.). The scanned barcode is immediately transmitted through the receiver by using a keyboard simulation method. Go to the editing software opened on the computer, the right picture is the interface after entering this function. Due to the uncertainty of wireless communication, in the case of occasional interruption of communication, the 8 series wireless barcode collector still allows scanning of barcodes and automatic buffering. A maximum of about 1,000 barcodes can be buffered at one time, and the number waiting to be sent is unsent data. When communication is restored, the 8 series will automatically send the buffered barcode to the base station. When the handheld is connected with the Mini USB data cable to the computer or cash register, the handheld can be used as a wired scanner, and the barcode can be directly scanned to the computer or cash register.

The 8 series wireless barcode reader has a keyboard and screen, and all scanning interfaces allow manual barcode entry. Press [SW] to enter the manual input mode. There are three input modes, numbers, lowercase letters, and uppercase letters. 123 indicates the number mode, abc indicates the lowercase mode, and ABC indicates the uppercase mode. Press [SW] to switch the input method. Press [ENT] to confirm, press [ESC] to cancel.

2. Collect

Collect is a multi-database collection mode for batch processing. First set the bank number, and the data in each bank is stored separately. This function is not a real-time transmission mode. Before scanning, you can set each barcode to be read only once. After collecting all the barcodes, you can transfer them in batches. The user can select an action in "Export". All scanned barcodes are saved in scan order. Shut down will not cause data loss.Set to read each barcode only once, often used for express order number, electronic product serial number, material number and so on. It is not allowed to save the same barcode again. The F2 key turns off repeated warnings. When you encounter a barcode that cannot be scanned, press the SW key on the work interface, you can manually enter it, press F1 to browse the saved data, and press DEL to clear the data. While browsing the data, you can delete the incorrectly collected barcode and press DEL to enter the barcode serial number. You can also scan the barcode to quickly find the record that needs to be deleted.

3.Inventory

Inventory is a simple inventory statistics mode. Set the library number first. The data in each library is stored separately. After scanning the barcode, record the barcode and the corresponding quantity value. The same barcode will automatically accumulate the quantity. You can also manually enter the quantity value. Each time you scan the barcode, the corresponding quantity value of the barcode is increased by 1. You can also directly enter the quantity value by pressing the number keys. Select "Cover" or "Add". F1 browses the data, F2 clears the data. You can delete the wrongly counted barcode when browsing the data, and press DEL to enter the barcode serial number. If there are many barcodes in inventory, you can also scan the barcode to quickly find the record that needs to be deleted.
